Leigh Anne DuChene will be the speaker. In addition to being a member
of our group, she is a Holistic Health and Bodywork practitioner,
licensed massage therapist, certified parent coach, certified
breastfeeding educator, childbirth educator, and a doula.

The class is designed to teach parents, grandparents, caregivers, and others who are interested, how to affectively give their child a massage. There are many benefits of massage for infants and children. Some of those benefits include helping with sleep, colic, torticollis, constipation, fussiness, teething, and much more.
Baby B.E.S.T., Bio Energetic Synchronization Technique, is an amazing bodywork techinque that balances the body’s energy and nervous system. Benefits of this technique are the same as massage, but the effects last a lot longer and ensure that the body is able to function, heal, and develop properly.

It costs thousands of dollars to learn and be certified in BEST, literally, and we teach it in our infant massage class, along with traditional massage, for only $50 per participant.

Natural Childbirth vs. Holistic Childbirth

Natural childbirth is a phrase that has become quite common among midwives, doulas, childbirth educators, birthing centers, and homebirthers. However, a phrase not quite so common is holistic childbirth. Holistic living and parenting are both concepts that are quickly increasing in popularity. However, the concept of holistic childbirth is still rather new. Holistic childbirth is only a small part of holistic parenting as the way you choose to birth and bring your child into this world impacts them for life and is something that every parent should give a lot of thought, love, and attention to when making birthing decisions and plans. Holistic childbirth includes all of the attributes involved in natural childbirth and then goes a step further to include physical, mental, and spiritual wellness and readiness.

Birth is not only the birth of a new life, but also of a mother and father, the birth of a family or of new dimension to your current family. Every aspect of parenting from preconception, pregnancy, labor, birth and beyond, elicits emotions that affect your physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing. To truly have a holistic childbirth experience one must take all these factors into consideration and address them to meet optimal wellbeing and readiness.

In my practice, Soul Birth services located in Dallas and Irving, TX, I promote holistic living, childbirth, and parenting. To address all these aspects of childbirth I have designed a Holistic Childbirth Preparation Program. This program includes childbirth education classes that prepare you for birth both mentally and spiritually. In addition to classes each student is also under care with holistic bodywork and we work to address emotions involved in your life from past experiences, present experiences, and future experiences. We work to clear any emotional stresses involved in your life and specifically emotions revolving around pregnancy, labor, birth, and parenting. By addressing these issues we are preparing the body physically, mentally, and spiritually for birth, the birth of baby and parent.

To truly experience a “victorious surrender” and be able to experience birth to its fullest, a mother must be willing to face and deal with her fears. Only when you can face your fears can you overcome them. You will find your spiritual strength to trust your body, instincts, and the birth process. There is a natural cascade of hormones that take place during childbirth that allows for optimal wellbeing and bonding during and immediately following birth. To allow these hormones to function to their fullest potential our emotional state or readiness must be in a balanced and peaceful place. From emotional balance or peace comes the ecstasy of birth. The emotional climax that every mother should experience during a natural and holistic birth.

Soul Birth ~ “The Essence of Life’s Beginning!”

Soul Birth^SM is about experiencing birth to it’s fullest. There is a spiritual aspect of birth that has been forgotten about. Medicine has taken the sacredness out of birthing and put fear into mothers. Fear of the unexpected, and doubt in themselves and their baby. Birth is a completely natural and normal process. It is the passageway for the creation of love to enter our world. Birth connects the mother to her child so intimately and spiritually that no one can explain the feeling of the experience. You just have to experience birth!

Soul Birth^SM Services are centered around spiritual strengthening and removing emotional interference. Engrams or emotional memory overrides are formed in the subconscious mind that trigger physiologies specific to a memory that are not needed for present circumstances. This override creates the chemical response to another emotion rather than the one meant to be experienced at the present moment.

For example, if a child draws on the wall a beautiful picture for her mother and excitedly brings mom in to show her the gift. Mom reacts in shock and anger. Saying, “Why did you draw on the wall? Why would you do that? We don’t draw on walls!” This reaction to the art work causes the daughter to feel fear and disappointment. These emotions are now all tied together in the subconscious as an engram. Whenever the daughter experiences feelings of excitement again fear and disappointment come with it.

Feelings create our reality and to experience feelings of fear and disappointment in the presence of excitement can change the outcome of the experience. She will no longer feel excited, but instead the fear and disappointment take over and her experience changes to fit those emotions. Not, what she expected at all.

To avoid this situation it is necessary to remove the subconscious engrams. Unfortunately we cannot change our past, only the way we re-experience our past. Through B.E.S.T. treatments the subconscious mind is able to be updated to present time situations so that engrams are released and emotions are free to be experienced without overrides.

Focusing on the removal of emotional interference helps you to reconnect with yourself. You are free to live and experience more fully now, in the present. Reconnecting with yourself strengthens your spiritual connection to God and his creations, enabling a mother to experience birth spiritually in the now.
